A Triple Wedding Weekend!

Our string quartet had the privilege of playing for THREE weddings this weekend! Because we are not a contracting company, we don’t take more than one wedding per time slot, but the times of these weddings made it possible to do all three!

The first wedding and cocktail hour was at Southall Meadows, in Franklin, TN. We worked with Leigh Bawcom, a fabulous wedding coordinator, whom we always enjoy working with! This bride hand-picked every prelude and cocktail hour song, as well as her ceremony songs. Her ceremony selections were:

For our second wedding, we played at Scarritt Bennett, in Nashville, TN. We worked with Grey Boroff, with House of Grey Events, and things always go smoothly with her at the helm! We also collaborated with Russell Davis, a Nashville organist, who was a pleasure to work with. We played several parts of the Catholic ceremony, along with organ and vocals. For this wedding, the bride chose:

And for the final wedding and cocktail hour of the weekend, we traveled to Cedar Springs at Bone Hollow, in Lebanon, TN. We worked with Lindsey Gregory, with Vision in White Events, and enjoyed it! We were situated on the porch, so were in a good spot when a couple of “pop-up showers” happened, but the wedding was still beautiful!

For prelude, we played classical pieces, as requested by the bride, and switched to fun and contemporary music for cocktail! For the ceremony the bride chose:
