Our string quartet had the honor of playing for a beautiful wedding and cocktail hour this past Saturday evening at the iconic Country Music Hall of Fame, in Nashville, TN! The ceremony took place in the rotunda, with cocktail hour being on the rooftop terrace. We worked with Laurie D’Anne Events for the first time, but Laurie, Rebecca and their team helped the whole evening go so smoothly! For prelude the bride picked songs such as Iris (GooGoo Dolls), Enchanted and You are in Love (Taylor Swift), Can You Feel the Love Tonight (Elton John), Can’t Help Falling in Love (Elvis), At Last and others. The bride’s ceremony selections are as follows:
Family Seating: Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Wedding Party: Isn’t She Lovely (Stevie Wonder)
Bride: Daylight (Taylor Swift)
Ceremony Prayer: The Lord’s Prayer
Recessional: I Gotta Feelin’ (Black Eyed Peas)
For cocktail hour we played requests from the bride such as Feathered Indians, Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Sweet Caroline, You Belong With Me, Take Me Home, Country Roads and so many more.
We have to say, one of our favorite parts of the evening was a crowd of guests singing along to Sweet Caroline at the top of their lungs from the rooftop of the Country Music Hall of Fame!
