String Quartet at Sycamore Farms!

Our string quartet had the honor of playing for a wedding ceremony this past Thursday evening at Sycamore Farms, in Franklin, TN. We love playing out on “The Island” at this venue, and we especially love a weekday wedding! The wedding was beautiful! This bride chose a traditional approach to her wedding music selections, which we always enjoy— we don’t get to play classical music all that often anymore! We played classical pieces for the prelude, including The Brandenburg Concerto, Air on the G String, Alleluia, Passacaile, Entrance of the Queen of Sheba and several others, and her ceremony selections were as follows:

Family/Wedding Party: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Bach)

Bride: Canon in D (Pachelbel)

Congregational Hymn: In Christ Alone (Getty)

Recessional: Wedding March (Mendelssohn)
