Last weekend, our string trio had the privilege of providing music for the Providence Christian Academy high school graduation ceremony, in Murfreesboro, TN. We have been a part of this ceremony for the past several years, but are still honored every time we get asked!
We played 30 minutes of prelude beforehand, which included classical pieces, Gratitude (Brandon Lake) and the hymn, Come Thou Fount.
For the staff and faculty’s entrance, we played Be Thou My Vision (Hymn) and we played the traditional Pomp and Circumstance for the graduates‘ entrance. At the end we played La Rejouissance (Handel), starting from when the graduates tossed their caps in the air through dismissal.
