Our string quartet had the honor of playing for a beautiful ceremony in the Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett, in Nashville, TN tonight! We worked with Anna Claire and Gabi, with EBJ and Company, who always run a tight, yet stunning, ship! For prelude, the bride chose a variety of contemporary songs, such as Yellow (Coldplay), Daylight and Lover (Taylor Swift), Make You Feel My Love (Adele), Fly Me to the Moon, and others. We mixed those in with a couple classical pieces as well, per the Father of the Bride’s request! For the ceremony the bride chose:
Family Seating: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Bach)
Wedding Party: Gratitude (Brandon Lake)
Bride: Iris (GooGoo Dolls)
Recessional: You Are the Best Thing (LaMontagne)
We enjoy every time we get to play in the chapel at Scarritt Bennett.. the acoustics lend themselves so nicely to strings! Until next time..!
