A Wedding-Filled Weekend!

It was another double-wedding weekend for College Grove Strings!

Friday night, our string trio was back out at The Venue at Birchwood, in Spring Hill, TN. We worked with Logan Thompson, with Violet and Vines, and thoroughly enjoyed it! The bride chose to have Canon in D (Pachelbel) played for the entire processional—family, the bridal party and herself— so we made sure to save the famous, climactic part for after the doors closed and when the bride made her grand entrance! The recessional was Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles

Saturday evening, our string trio played at Ravenswood Mansion, in Brentwood, TN, for a wedding and cocktail hour. The ceremony took place on the front lawn under a couple of shade trees and the cocktail hour was around back of the mansion. We worked with Dana, at Dana Carroll Co., and she was very helpful in making things run smoothly!

The bride’s musical selections were as follows:

Family Seating: Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Bridal Party: What a Beautiful Name (Hillsong)

Bride: Goodness of God (CeCe Winans)

Recessional: Wedding March (Mendelssohn)

The cocktail hour consisted of upbeat classical and popular tunes.
